A. I hate that song by 50 cent...YES YES I do catch myself singing becasue it has a catch to it...but he makes having kids unspecial... or just good for collecting a paycheck. I dunno...maybe its just me.

Anyways...speaking of paycheck = money...I was...well not surprised, but caught off guard when I got a threatening letter from one of my student loan ppl telling me to pay this ridiculous amount or we will take you into litigation. DUDE!!! First of all, I am still in school...get your records right..and 2nd of all....all you do is send letters. I am horrible with keeping up with mail...what happened to being eco-friendly...give me a phone call or e-mail.

Anyways...seems like i will never be like 50 cents baby mommas.

Halloween 2009

Yeah...my company has a halloween costume contest every year. Last year I was the winner!!!

I tried to make it 2 in a row but....NO...I lost to a tube :o(

Anyways...made the costume...was up till like 2 in the morning...yeah I am more dedicated to crazy things like this rather than doing my homework...where o where are my priorities.

Anyways again...my co-part informed me of November being Blooging month so need to be on my A game. Hopefully the sheer joy and chuckles you get from my costume makes up for the 2 days missed.

1. Pay for car insurance without being reemed with those higher rates (becasue of higher risk....pish posh!!)

2. Rent a car without being charged an underage drivers fee (AGAIN because of higher risk...posh pish!!!)

3. Perhaps less likely to get carded (eventhough it is mandatory by law) :o|

4. Fourth of the way to reaching 100...( I Plan on Living that Long!)

5. Be at a good time in life to make changes (and mistakes)...that, in time, will fade away before they blemish your good name

New beginnings....

So here is my new area of wanted knowledge: HOW TO WEAR A SUMMER SCARF...CUTELY!

I feel I look retarded when I try them on at home...I have bought at least three and have worn none of them out. I like the way they look on other people...especially these ummmmm....muffler scarves (which for the life of me i could not understand how to tie)

Neways...just got back from a late movie...Julie & Julia. It was pleasant enough. Not an attention grabber (proved by my company falling asleep) but it was very cute.

Yesterday was a good day :o)

Yesterday (August 8th) was my Birthday. I turned a quarter of a century (25) yrs old.

I feel good about it though. Its not about getting older..because good heavens I am still in my 20's. I feel like I am on the right path I guess :o)

New Find: Tekaboo

Cute little new artist I found while watching the bootleg tv stations on the low-key networks. At first I was not impressed becasue she was giving a whack interview... but when they played her music it was very energetic and catchy...and the lyrics were very cute :o)

Home is where the Heart is

Been on the road for the past 3 months...tired...glad to be home. Unfortunatlely the feeling is short lived. I am home for enough time to wash dirty clothes and repack the gaps. Yeah....not fun! I am looking forward to August...I only have 2 days off next month but makes my brithday weekend to 4 days...I am not going anywhere...chillin and relaxin is perfect for me!

Hmm....Don Lemon looks different when he stands up...i enjoy watching the on slaught of news shows with my grandma...

Just not too sure why females have to bare the burden of child birth. SCREW THAT!! The monthly visitor is such a downer (sigh).....hence the tone of this post :o(

I have some things I need to do: Schoolwork, job searching, update resume, check email, and watch my fave tv shows (which now include my first place, income properties, and house huters on HGTV and Ice Truckers on the Discovery Channel. I like inetrior design and home decor shows...I wonder if I should try my creative hand...Ive been meaning to do my scarpbooking project now for about 2 years.

1. Working in Daytona at hotels on the beach that I would not pay a penny for a night. (Note to self: It aint worth it...stay inland and drive to the beach)

2. Eating a crappy lunch

3. Watching 1 guy 1 cup and freakin out...( didnt finish watchin that...uh uh.. hell no)

4. just went for a night run to wendy's to get a soda.

5. Wishing i could sneak inside the speedway arena just to see what it looks like (huge from the outside)

6. Playing catch up with my MBA class...I am a week behind due to work conflicts

7. Talking to mom....and forgetting to return her call

8. thinking about future events here ane there...outlook getting more and more fuzzy each day

9. realizing my thighs hurt like crazy...i dont even know what attributed to them hurting

and finally...10. Realizing I do like this whole blogging thing...the trick is (for me anyways) is not thinking about what would be the most entertaining or worthwhile to write about...that doesnt matter....1 to 2 people at the most are reading this...I know I get a kick out of what I write iF i dont think too much about what I am doing..so all is good.

Sooo... i like to eat my reese's outside first...all at once...and then once i am done eating the outside of all the reeses in the pack I eat the inside.



IMPORTANT NOTE: You can tell a reeses is old if the top of it looks ashy and bumpy. That means the peanut butter has gotten all dry and the chocolate isnt fresh anymore. YUCK!!! i hate it when I get a pack of old reese cups.

Like they say: There is no wrong way to eat a Reeses...unless its old (thats what I say)

so yesterday i was getting dressed & my friend in brooklyn was like, "wait, your socks aren't the same"... i said yep!

fun fact: i rarely wear matching socks. i never tie them together so it's whatever 2 i grab 1st. who says we have to anyway?? i say hurumph to social norms!

i'm on a bus

great, after typing my title i thought about that "i'm on a boat" song (a few posts down). not a huge fan of buses, but everybody said bolt buses are the cleanest, nicest, bestest way to get to & from nyc- plus there's free wireless...hence the post. today's post is brought to you courtesy of smoe & his netbook!

so tired which brings me to my major objectives for this 3 day trip:

1- sleep/relax: feel like i've been running all over this week (i.e. random spot in md on tuesday, jersey yesterday)

2- thrifting! getting tired of my clothes so need new ones. preferably cheap new ones bc i'm sure i'll tire of those too...even thinkin about buying shorts to try somethin new, but prob wont.

3- see folks i haven't seen in a while & make time for at least 2 touristy things on this trip. for some reason while in the shower i thought about the statue of liberty, so that's an option...

we'll see how i accomplish this as seconds turn into mins turn into hours turn into 3 days turn into me blogging on the bus on my way back home!

soooo don't like pop/celebrity news and/or gossip BUUUUUUUT heard 2 weeks ago that drake is possibly rihana's new guy! i'm obviously NOT a fan of that situation bc he can do much better than being rihana's rebound guy!

plus heard (from a not so reliable source) that he used to date bria myles. i like her much better than rihana (no homo) bc she kinda looks like me- not literally but she's darker, more girl next store looking & curvier than "ri-ri".

ok i'm seriously getting too old to have crushes, but it happens. read somewhere a long time ago that what you admire in a crushes is something you lack or would like/need to develop in yourself. generally speaking, my crushes are always talented (i.e. musicians, sports guys) and usually edgy (i.e. wayne, rasheed wallace)...not sure what that means...

Word of the Month: Dedication

my word for the month of June: "dedication". I am going to dedicate myself to have a word of the month every month. (Ha! I even used it in a sentence.)

I need to be more dedicated to this blog. i mean it's not like i don't have stuff I would like to post. I think of stuff throughout the day I log in my mind that i feel would interesting enough or of worth to put on here. it's that i get home and settled and dont even feel like turning on my computer sometimes.I thought my crazy lazy days were over but i SOOO want to relive them. When i could sleep all day long...get up and eat in my pj's then go right back to bed...have every show i like to watch on the half hour and the hour memorized. Oh the dayz..... But getting off my tangent..I am going to dedicate more time to getting my thoughts blogged...I think I am getting the hang of this :o)

Another avenue of dedication...oh my life..or whatever i was doing before I went on vacation. I feel like I was gone for a year..but it was just 2 weeks. I totally dropped the ball when it comes to my classes. UGH!!!!!!!! I am a Phoenix!!! (with a broken wing)

Yet more dedication: Relationships...What does it mean to be dedicated to someone? To be there...to put all of you into that 1 person...? I ask this because when it comes to my relationship(s) I feel that in the past I was more dedicated to the person than I am in the realtionship I am in now. It is because I am scared to repeat myself fearing hurt again??? I dunno...maybe I am just being selfish and dont want to chop off more of my time and give to another person (thats cutting into my nap and Family Guy time!!)

Enough of this.

soooooo yesterday was thinking about how i want to carve out my space in this blog. how do i set it a part from mine, yet make it fun & relevant?? then i decided i could focus on fashion & boys in this blog, but :

(1) i don't even like admitting i like fashion bc it's such an "it" industry. even when you say you have an interest/like fashion, folks automatically look at what you're wearing and going through your old outfits in their mind-at least the ones that care too, i would :)

(2) if i spent all of my postings talkin about super cute guys, i'd seem like an "insipid debutante" (one of my fav movie lines EVER, and it seemed fitting)

i focus heavily on music on my other one, so that's one thing i prob won't cover at all here, unless i'm doing a duplicate post on somethin a-m-a-z-i-n-g! hmmm, think i'll keep my super random thoughts & me-specific life stuff to blog smolg (plug)... & do everything else here.

maybe i'm over thinking this, but don't want this blog to suffer bc i don't have my direction together yet...with all this said i STILL dunno, but i'll figure it out as i post more.

Vacation getaways are overrated

Soo.....I literally just got off the boat 3 hours ago...The Bahamas was very...Ummmmm...interesting. I dunno....i felt safe yet not. Let's just say I appreciate my place of origin. The scenery was B-A-U-tiful. (more pics coming soon....as soon as I can get my computer to show me previews of my pics instead of having to open each one) It did have that Don't worry be happy feel to it. All in all the vacay was a good thang. New experiences...new places....new faces is always an adventure. I likey likey!!

QB...to answer your question...I am not sure why we have never vacayed together. You do it big all the time! I am not sure if I can keep up witya woman. I DO KNOW now though to check in with you. Heaven forbid if I miss my chance again. But I make a way to see my DC lady :o)

But in all seriousness the best vacation time spent is keeping your booty at home...
